NIS hired the first female civilian agents circa 1977-1978. The first five were Debbie Bachman, Diana Collins, Marya Gripp, Renea King, and Tricia Hance (nee Mansell). Debbie and Diaa retired after a full career, Renea and Tricia both stayed with NCIS for 10+ years, and Marya left before her first tour was over.
